Blushing Bracket, Daedaleopsis confragosa

The red bracket below is an old one of this species. When fresh it bruises pinkish at the gills when bruised, but the small, old fruit I brought home to look up is already substantially red. Gill pattern is good and our Blushing Bracket has become an old rusty bracket!
