144 species so far

Records continue to stack up from Cullaloe, with the lion's share of course being known species which are just being relocated or re-recorded, with Canadian Pond-weed and the moss Calliergon cardifolium being two such examples. The latter is particularly happy in the flooded entrance to the spillway!

It's a sign of the times that with less than 30 species of bird recorded Raven already appears on the list. How long before Little Egret also does I wonder?

One of the focusses of the year will be fungi, so it's gratifying to already have 26 in the bag, and some other still in the box! Most of these have been recorded before but there is a growing number of new additions.
