Beech Milkcap, Lactonius blennius
Cap: to 9.5cm, convex then expanded with depressed centre, drab brownish or grey with olivaceous tones. Sometimes heavily spotted
Gills: adnate to decurrent, crowded, white becoming cream
Milk plentiful, white
Stipe: to 7cm, clyindrical or tapering downward, paler than cap
Hab: Deciduous woodland, usually containing Beech
