Diary 6-12th March

7th March
Cow Parsley added to the list

11th March
A frosty morning after a warmish day yesterday - 12 degrees! Been a slow week for new species, with many plants just breaking through but not given a name yet. A double species morning this morning with Meadow Pipits flying over and Ivy spotted on some of the roadside trees. By the end of the month we'll be comfortably into the 200s, not least because the first moth night of the year is just around the corner.

Almost ... you can do it! Come on!!!

12th March
Chiffchaff and Kestrel take the list to 200!!! Later discovery of double count on Daffodil reduces count to 199 before ... hoverfly Cheilosia grossa on the same day really takes the list to 200!
