Saturday night was a special night with Roe Deer at dusk, bats over the water and a pair of Tawny Owls towit towooing while I waited for moths to appear. I did finally grab some moths before departing at 23:30 - Small Phoenix, Flame Carpet and Water Carpet (2). A visit on Sunday saw me wading round the pond edge in wellies which turned p Marsh Bedstraw and Bittersweet. There was also some Common Mouse-ear beside the path.
