Squirrel signs

I have a feeling there may have been some squirrel activity under the pines!

This mornings trio of new ticks came in the form of Prickly Sow Thistle, Hedge Woundwort and the hoverfly Helophilus pendulus. With an ID from the weekend of Small Dotted Buff that's actually 4 new species added today, so still in line with reaching 500 before end of June. It still amazes me every time I visit for an hour and walk away with three new species.

Actually I have some photos of a micro moth and some grasses and some thistles so you never know - it could end up being more today.
